Shandong is now entering wheat harvest season. With giant harvesters roaring in the fields, farmers in Yanggu county, Liaocheng, are cutting and threshing efficiently.

The modern drying facilities are also playing a crucial role. Equipped with intelligent drying towers, these facilities can process up to 5,000 metric tons of grain annually, reducing moisture content and preventing mold, ensuring the quality and safety of the wheat.
In Linqing, large combine harvesters are busy in the fields of Gaofang village, where 500 mu (33.33 hectares) of wheat are under centralized management. The use of drones for pest control and large-scale irrigation systems has increased yields by over 50 kilograms per mu compared to last year.

The local government has mobilized over 2,100 combine harvesters, including 500 from outside the area, to ensure a smooth and efficient harvest. Additionally, green channels for cross-regional operations and fuel supply have been established to support farmers.
These efforts highlight the province's commitment to modernizing agricultural practices, ensuring a bountiful harvest, and safeguarding food security in the region.
